Praise Continually

By Jimmy Hill - Southport Campus Pastor
Psalm 34:1 says; ‘I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth’.
The Psalmist is saying that he wants to praise God in every situation.
It’s a similar desire found in Paul’s writing, such as 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; ‘Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus’.
God calls us to praise Him. Obviously God deserves our worship, but I think a mindset of praise sets our feet on a healthy path.
I say this because when you praise God and bask in His goodness, we’re captivated by something much greater, and the problems of this world begin to shrink.
I encourage you spend time each day praising our wonderful God
